I organized a symposium to celebrate the book launch of Open Gaza: Architectures of Hope (editors Michael Sorkin & Deen Sharp) and pay tribute to the inspirational Michael Sorkin by discussing three of the book's contributions.
The presenters included Dr Yara Sharif & Dr Nasser Golzari (PART + University of Westminster), Mahdi Sabbagh & Meghan McAllister, Fadi Shayya & Ahmad Barclay (University of Salford + Visualizing Palestine), with Ahmad Shabat (University of Salford).
The event was hosted by Dr Claudia Trillo & Dr Athena Moustaka (Architecture and Design, University of Salford).
